Disney+ & R.L. Stine’s New Series JUST BEYOND Adds Mckenna Grace & More

The new Disney+ series based on Goosebumps and also Fear Street author R.L. Stine’s Just Beyond is coming. And today we hear that Mckenna Grace (The Haunting of Hill House, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Annabelle Comes Home) will star in the series.

Lexi Underwood (Little Fires Everywhere) and Grace will lead their own stand-alone episodes. Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) will direct both episodes.
Nasim Pedrad (Scream Queens) will also guest star.
Just Beyond is an anthology series that tells astonishing and thought-provoking stories of reality just beyond the one we know. Each episode introduces viewers to a new cast of characters who must go on a surprising journey of self-discovery in a supernatural world of witches, aliens, ghosts, and parallel universes.
Seth Grahame-Smith (Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) will write the eight-episode series and also serve as showrunner. The first episode is now in production in Atlanta. Disney+ aims to release the series this fall.

Grahame-Smith and Webb are also executive producing with David Katzenberg, Aaron Schmidt, Stephen Christy, Ross Richie, David Walpert, and Mark Ambrose. Stine is also a co-executive producer. 20th Television, a part of Disney Television, produces.
