New A24 ‘Secret Slasher’ BODIES, BODIES, BODIES Snags Killer Cast

A24 has snagged a killer cast for its new ‘secret slasher’ Bodies, Bodies, Bodies including Maria Bakalova. She played Sacha Baron Cohen’s daughter in the recent Borat sequel. The role earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Amandla Stenberg (The Hate You Give) will also star while Pete Davidson (SNL, James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad) and Myha’la Herrold (HBO’s Industry) are in talks to join.
Halina Reijn is set to direct. If the name is unfamiliar, Reijn’s directorial debut Instinct was selected for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
A24 will finance and produce Bodies, Bodies, Bodies with David Hinojosa.
We’re already buying out tickets to the flick. After all. A24. Need I say more? Okay, I will. A24 has produced some of the best horror movies in years. Including Under the Skin, The Monster, and The Blackcoat’s Daughter. Not to mention Robert Eggers’ The Witch and The Lighthouse. And Ari Aster’s Hereditary and Midsommar.
They were also behind Life After Beth, Ex Machina, Green Room, De Palma, It Comes at Night, A Ghost Story, The Hole in the Ground, Climax, In Fabric, and Saint Maud.
Plus, Locke, Enemy, A Most Violent Year, Slow West, The End of the Tour, Dark Places, Room, The Lobster, Swiss Army Man, Into the Forest, Free Fire, The Florida Project, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Lady Bird, The Disaster Artist, First Reformed, Eighth Grade, Mid90s, High Life, Under the Silver Lake, Uncut Gems, and Minari.
