Ben Wheatly’s (Kill List, High Rise) next genre offering, a chilling folk-horror movie called In the Earth, was originally slated to hit select theaters on April 30th.

Today brings word Wheatly’s hotly-anticipated film arrives in theaters on April 16th.
The announcement also came with a creepy new poster.

In the Earth Synopsis:
As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.
