The Vampire Diaries Season 4After showing you the preview and some stills earlier today, we now have a clip from the upcoming Episode 4.03 of “The Vampire Diaries,” entitled “The Rager,” in which Matt exhibits the time-tested art of the silent treatment to an apologetic Rebekah. Think she’ll get the hint?

“The Vampire Diaries” Episode 4.03, “The Rager” (10/25/12 airdate)
BORN TO BE WILD — Connor (guest star Todd Williams) continues his search to uncover the secrets of Mystic Falls and tries to convince Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to work with him. With Dr. Fell’s (guest star Torrey DeVitto) help, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) question Connor, but the confrontation takes a lethal turn.

Trying to keep her new life as normal as possible, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is determined to continue her senior year at Mystic Falls High with support from Matt (Zach Roerig) and Caroline (Candice Accola). Rebekah’s (Claire Holt) arrival at school makes it difficult for Elena to control her anger, but she learns that confronting Rebekah can be extremely dangerous. Later, Rebekah realizes how alone she is and reaches out to April (guest star Grace Phillips).

Stefan (Paul Wesley) takes Elena on a thrilling motorcycle ride in an effort to show her that life can still be fun. Tyler (Michael Trevino) gets a surprise visit from Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin, “The Secret Circle”), a werewolf who helped him through the ordeal of breaking his sire-bond to Klaus. Concerned about Elena, as well as his own emotions, Stefan turns to a sympathetic Caroline for advice.

Lance Anderson directed the episode written by Brian Young.

Email your answer to contests@dreadcentral.com including your FULL NAME AND MAILING ADDRESS along with “Winchester Competition” in your subject line, and we’ll take care of the rest. The competition closes on May 28, and please don’t enter if you live outside the UK.

Winchester was directed by the Spierig Brothers, and was co-distributed by Lionsgate and CBS Films. It stars Academy Award winner Helen Mirren alongside Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook, Finn Scicluna-O’Prey, and Angus Sampson.

Winchester Official Synopsis
On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester (Helen Mirren), the eccentric firearm heiress to the Winchester Repeating Arms fortune, it is a house that knows no end.

Renowned for its enormous size, its architectural curiosities, and its lack of any master building plan, the Winchester house was constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades. It stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms with numerous oddities. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman’s madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the brilliant Doctor Eric Price (Jason Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters.

AHS 8 Will Be More Like ASYLUM and COVEN

Published

on

News has been steadily coming in regarding the upcoming 8th season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series American Horror Story. It was just the other day that we let you guys know that Billie Lourd will be back for the new season, which begins shooting this June.

And today we have word via Deadline regarding just what the tone will be for this new season, rumored to be titled AHS: Radioactive.

It’s not necessarily as real and grounded as the past season,” Murphy said. “We’re sort of getting back to Asylum and Coven. That’s the tone of it.”

Personally, I really enjoyed the grounded tone of AHS: Cult and I think it helped rejuvenate the series. But then again, a return to the tone of perhaps the show’s most beloved season (AHS: Asylum) is just what the series needs in the long run.

Are you excited to hear AHS 8 will be going back to the tone of Asylum and Coven? Make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

AHS Season 8 stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, and new cast member Joan Collins, who will play Peters’ grandmother. Murphy has revealed he’s interested in casting Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family) as well.
