With the first quarter of 2021 coming to a close on Wednesday, the folks at USA Today took it upon themselves to create a definitive ranking of every horror film released this year so far. (Truth be told, there are a few notable exceptions, but we’ll let them slide this time!).

We’re especially proud to report that, out of 25 horror films reviewed, Lucky from Epic Pictures & DREAD Presents made it into the Top 10! Lucky shares the Top 10 with Violation, The Vigil, Come True, Honeydew, Saint Maud, PG: PSycho Goreman, The Queen of Black Magic, Willy’s Wonderland, and The Reckoning.

Lucky is now available to stream exclusively on Shudder. If you haven’t seen the film for yourself yet, check out the trailer and synopsis below.

Synopsis:
Life takes a sudden turn for May, a popular self-help book author, when she finds herself the target of a mysterious man with murderous intentions. Every night, without fail he comes after her, and every day the people around her barely seem to notice. With no one to turn to, May is pushed to her limits and must take matters into her own hands to survive and to regain control of her life.
