Sitges Will Be Home to the First Look at REC 4: Apocalypse

It’s gonna be a fun time for [REC] fans at this year’s Sitges Film Festival because that’s where they will be getting their look at the first teaser trailer for [REC] 4 Apocalypse, the final installment of the franchise directed by series co-creator Jaume Balaguero.
The International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia will host the exclusive premiere of the teaser, which can be seen on the night of Friday, October 5, at 1 am in the auditorium of the Hotel Melia.
[REC] 4 Apocalypse, produced by Julio Fernandez for Filmax, begins shooting early next year.
“Angela Vidal, the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.”
