Horror History: Bruce F*cking Willis Is Now 66 Years Old

On this day in horror history, Bruce Fucking Willis was born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany in 1955. His genre work includes films such as Death Becomes Her, The Sixth Sense, and Grindhouse: Planet Terror. Plus Unbreakable, Split, and Glass.

But we all know Bruce Willis is best known for his action movies. These include The Last Boy Scout, Last Man Standing, Armageddon, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Death Wish, Red, The Expendables, and Sin City. And, obviously, Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Live Free or Die Hard, and A Good Day to Die Hard.

But the man is more than just an action star.

He’s done comedy (Hudson Hawk, Four Rooms, Breakfast of Champions, The Story of Us, The Whole Nine Yards, Bandits, Cop Out, Moonrise Kingdom). Drama (The Bonfire of the Vanities, Hart’s War). Kid’s movies (North, Look Who’s Talking, Look Who’s Talking Too). And sci-fi (12 Monkeys, Surrogates, Looper, The Fifth Element).

Not to mention a handful of killer thrillers (Striking Distance, Color of Night, Mercury Rising, The Siege, Tears of the Sun, Alpha Dog, 16 Blocks, The Jackal).

And then there’s Pulp Fiction. You may have heard of it.

Willis has also been a force in television with roles on shows such as Miami Vice, The Twilight Zone, Roseanne, Mad About You, Ally McBeal, Friends, That ’70s Show, and Family Guy. Not to mention his Emmy- nominated role in Moonlighting.
