SCREAM Star Wanted MTV to Kill Off Original Cast

I was a big fan of the first two seasons of Scream: The TV Series. And if you were too I’m sure you’ve wondered how the cast felt when MTV rebooted season 3. Well, today, Carlson Young finally spoke about the shocking Season 3 shake-up.
She tells Collider: “That was shocking. It was like, ‘You got renewed for a third season!’ Then it was quiet. And we’re like, ‘What does that mean?’ And especially just the way the show ended. There are these cliffhangers and, I don’t know, it didn’t feel wrapped up. But when they decided to do the reboot, it was like, ‘Ok. Ok! Ok,’ and just sort of moving right along and kind of taking the entire experience with gratitude, and I even have a fraction to do with the Scream fanbase.”
Young then pitched how MTV could’ve wrapped things up with the original cast.
She says: “I do feel like there could have been a really great episode where we all die. Like, why don’t you just kill everybody? It’s Scream! But just my thoughts!“

I don’t know about you, but again, I was a big fan of the first two seasons. But really, Scream is my favorite horror movie and I would watch and love any incarnation of the series, even a Saturday morning cartoon, I’m there.
MTV’s series begins when a brutal murder stirs memories of a crime spree from a town’s past. A past that haunts some, intrigues others and may have spawned a new killer. At the center of the story is a group of teenagers who become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets, and victims of a killer who’s out for blood.
