Most of us couldn’t wait for school to end when we were kids, but in the newly released horror comedy film School’s Out Forever, a troublesome student is forced to return to his place of learning after a global pandemic ravages the world.
Directed by Oliver Milburn and based on the novel by Scott K. Andrews, School’s Out Forever stars Oscar Kennedy as Lee Keegan, a recently expelled student who finds he has no choice but to seek refuge in his former school after the pandemic leaves him with nowhere else to go. However, he soon learns that his school is the least safe place for him to be, as the effects of the pandemic and the breakdown of society soon leads to both his fellow students and the neighbouring townsfolk to abandon their civility and give in to their true nature. Which means that Lee will be forced to take drastic measures to stay alive, which should make for some very shocking moments throughout the film. The cast also includes Samantha Bond, Alex MacQueen, Richard Elfyn, Steve Oram, Gordon Alexander, and Anthony Head.
If you’d like to watch School’s Out Forever, it’s now available in the UK on various VOD platforms, and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 12. The official trailer has also been released online by distributor Rebellion Entertainment, and can be viewed in the player below.
