THE RING’s Samara Makes Sneaky Cameos in Series of Commercials for Paramount+

On March 4th, CBS All Access will become Paramount+. To announce the transition, they’ve been releasing a series of commercials featuring characters from the many films and TV shows that will be housed in their stables–including the restless, video-tape obsessed spirit from a certain Ring franchise!
While the streaming network released a total of 8 “Mount Paramount Expedition” commercials, the three below feature sneaky cameos from the aforementioned Samara (played by Daveigh Chase in the franchise). Can you spot her?
The Ring, released in 2002, was the first American remake of the popular Japanese franchise Ringu. Directed by Gore Verbinski, the film also stars Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, and Brian Cox. If it’s been a while, revisit the trailer and synopsis below.
Synopsis:
It sounds like just another urban legend — a videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call foretelling the viewer’s death in exactly seven days. Newspaper reporter Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) is skeptical of the story until four teenagers all die mysteriously exactly one week after watching just such a tape. Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Rachel tracks down the video and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery.
