Writer/Director Says DEATHGASM Sequel Canceled for Being “Too Comercial”

It’s February, the month Deathgasm 2 was slated to begin production. Yeah, that’s not happening.

Deathgasm writer/director Jason Lei Howden gave his followers the low-down via Twitter, claiming the sequel was shelved for being “too commercial”.

Deathgasm was a big indie hit when it was released in 2015. If you missed it, you can check out the trailer and synopsis below.

Synopsis:
Two teenage boys unwittingly summon an ancient evil entity known as The Blind One by delving into black magic while trying to escape their mundane lives.
