NIGHTMARE ALLEY Will Now Hit in December
Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro has wrapped shooting on his adaptation of William Lindsay Gresham’s Nightmare Alley. And today we hear the must-see flick will finally arrive in theaters on December 3, 2021.

The psychological thriller follows an ambitious young carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people. With a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.

Del Toro penned the screenplay based on Gresham’s novel along with Kim Morgan.
Cooper stars as Stanton “Stan” Carlisle with Blanchett as Dr. Lilith Ritter and Willem Dafoe as Clem Hoately. Toni Collette also joins them as Zeena Krumbein along with Richard Jenkins as Ezra Grindle and Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Blade II) as Bruno.
Rooney Mara will play Molly Cahill with David Strathairn as Pete Krumbein and also Holt McCallany as Anderson. Jim Beaver rounds out the cast as Sheriff Jedediah Judd with Mark Povinelli also in there as The Major, Mary Steenburgen as Miss Harrington, David Hewlett as Dr. Elrood, and Tim Blake Nelson as Carny Boss.
The film will arrive in theaters on December 3, 2021.
