New Year’s Eve at the Highball has evolved for current times. The Alamo virtual team has recreated the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, The Highball, karaoke rooms and theaters into a virtual 8-bit experience. On New Year’s Eve, you will be transformed into an 8-bit avatar and enter our virtual party space.
This is not a happy hour Zoom call! Bring your family and friends together regardless of location to discover secret rooms full of entertainment, comedy, music, magic, and surprises around every turn.
They don’t want to spoil the discovery that awaits, but here are a few of the experiences to expect on New Year’s Eve at the Highball:

The party is also a tribute to one of our all-time cinematic heroes, Nicolas Cage. The interactive quest, photo booths and video installations will all pay tribute to the king. Expect other themed Easter eggs throughout the experience. Before the party, guests can also join us for a watch party screening of Mandy followed by a Q&A with Cheddar Goblin himself. We’ve partnered with RLJE Films and the team at SpectreVision to make this screening truly special. After the watch party, guests can virtually stroll into the UnCaged New Year’s Eve party. The New Year’s Eve Party is also available without the screening.
