NEWS
Metallica have revealed plans to begin working on new material in September. Their tenth studio album is expected to be out in late 2013/early 2014.

Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen was rushed to a hospital after collapsing on stage during a show. He was diagnosed to have had a full-system collapse due to extreme dehydration and heat exhaustion. He is expected to be fine.

Drowning Pool have announced Jasen Moreno as their new frontman. This marks the band’s fourth vocalist.

Lordi keyboardist Awa is leaving the band. Read statements from Awa and the band here.

Classic Rock Magazine will release Re-Machined: A Tribute to Deep Purple on September 4. The album features the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society and more covering Deep Purple. Details can be found here.

A drunk man fell into a 40-foot gorge while trying to sneak into a Nickelback concert. The 22-year old New Yorker had to be rescued by firefighters. That’s punishment for liking Nickelback.

MUSIC

With frontman Randy Blythe still in Czech Republic prison and denied ball, Lamb of God have been forced to cancel their upcoming tour with Dethklok. They home to rebook the tour in the fall.
