Seth Rogen & Lionsgate Developing Cursed VHS ’80s Slasher Movie VIDEO NASTY

Lionsgate has snagged producer Seth Rogen’s new horror flick Video Nasty from Cobweb and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot writer Chris Thomas Devlin.
The plot sounds a bit like The Final Girls in that it follows a group of teenagers who are pulled into an ’80s slasher movie that threatens to trap them forever. But this time it’s a cursed VHS that sends them on their adventure, not a theater fire.
No cast has been announced yet.
Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Josh Fagen, and James Weaver will produce along with Greg Silverman and Jon Berg. All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and Warm Bodies director Jonathan Levine (might) direct and produce along with Gillian Bohrer.
