Story & Character Details Revealed for Jordan Peele’s New Horror Movie?
Yesterday, Universal set the date for Get Out and Us writer-director Jordan Peele‘s next horror film: July 22, 2022. No other details were available at the time. But today we were able to get some first details on what we can (possibly) expect.
This comes to us via Murphys Multiverse who writes: “The story will focus on a man between 20 to 32 old who lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles. He is a Walmart employee in the electronics section, who is described as perceptive, sincere, and “clutch”. [The filmmakers] are currently looking to cast someone either with a Latino or Native American background for the role.”
Again, we can’t confirm these details regarding Jordan Peele’s next horror film but all the same there they are for your viewing pleasure. What do you think?
Peele’s Get Out centered on Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), who have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.
Then Us followed Adelaide Wilson who accompanied by her husband, son, and daughter returns to the beachfront home where she grew up. Haunted by a traumatic experience, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family learns each attacker takes their appearance.
