HEADCRUSHER Release Brutal & Bizarre Video for New Single “Blood Red Sands”

Synopsis:
An elemental crone is confined to a continuum inside a desert wasteland. Bent on breaking the cycle, she sacrifices herself over and over again, hoping to satiate the appetite of the blood-red sands.
The music video boasts epic scenery from California’s mysterious Mojave Desert landscape. The concept came from one of Colombia’s most notorious animators and directors and Grammy awards nominee, The Brother Jimenez /Sharpball co. Shot on location by Matt Eskew (Dreamworks, Foxnext, Disney). Susan Slaughter (Ghost Hunters International, The Dawn, Slay Belles) stars with character FX done by Brittany Fontaine (The Mandalorian, Deadpool, Hansel & Gretel). Together, this team created a dynamic and unique look that catapulted the band’s vision.
Their first single and new music video premiered on Halloween on The Dark Zone Queen Mary- Live: Virtual Haunt and Music Fest in Long Beach, California. This exclusive and virtual private screening can be accessed at www.TheDarkZone.tv. HEADCRUSHER officially released the video “Blood Red Sands” on their social media platforms on November 5th, 2020.
HEADCRUSHER’s upcoming EP Portal to Existence was recorded and mixed and produced by Fernando Navarro at Insania Recordings in Los Angeles, CA and mastered by Brad Boatright, Audiosiege Studio in Portland, Oregon. The artwork has been created by renowned graphic designer Gonzalo Restrepo.
HEADCRUSHER is an award-winning metal act originally from Colombia. Since 2001, they’ve had a strong following and ever-growing fan base. The band has extensively toured South America playing massive festivals like Rock al Parque 3 years standing (Bogota, Colombia) and FFF Fest (Ecuador) among many others.
In 2008 The band relocated to Austin, Texas where they grew a strong American fan base and brand. Now Touring throughout the US, the band has played in some of North America’s largest festivals (Barge to Hell, Housecore Horror Film Fest, Full Terror Assault, SXSW). Working with producers like Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, The Haunted) and Jesse Gander (3 Inches of Blood, Anciients), and directors like Michael Panduro for the video “Common Nonsense” (Napalm Death, Cephalic Carnage, Nasum, Dead Cross) and David Hall (Misery Index, Portal).
HEADCRUSHER has teamed up with some of the best brains in metal and other media snagging awards that put them in the front row of their genre. They visited the US West Coast and Canada as part of their “Seismic Trails West Coast Tour in 2019”. The band was invited to be part of Knotfest Mexico 2019.
