JURASSIC WORLD 3 Director Promises Delays Made a Stronger Movie

Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World 3 aka Jurassic World: Dominion has wrapped “an unprecedented” shoot requiring 40,000 COVID tests and cast and crew isolated in a bubble for months. But Trevorrow thinks it all made for a stronger movie in the end.

Trevorrow says: “I think that close proximity to each other has made the movie better. Everything we were going through emotionally we would share. We would rehearse on Sundays, we crafted the characters, which made the emotion of the film richer. I think the movie will be stronger for it.”

Let’s hope so!

Trevorrow directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Trevorrow will produce with Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley. Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer.

While the plot of Jurassic World 3 is under wraps, the last film began three years after the destruction of the theme park, with Owen and Claire returning to the island to save the dinosaurs from a volcano. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.

It stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with the return of Jurassic Park stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
