Epic Pictures Launching Creepy Irish Horror THE CELLAR Starring Elisha Cuthbert & Eoin Macken

Epic Pictures, Dread Central’s parent company, is launching a new horror movie, The Cellar, set/filmed in Ireland and starring Elisha Cuthbert (24, Happy Endings) and Eoin Macken (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, The Night Shift). Deadline broke the news earlier this morning:
“[The Cellar] tells the story of Keira Woods (Cuthbert), whose daughter mysteriously vanishes in the cellar of their new house in the country. Keira soon discovers there is an ancient and powerful entity controlling their home that she will have to face or risk losing her family’s souls forever.”
The Cellar is written by Brendan Muldowney (Pilgrimage) who will also direct; he’s reteaming with Pilgrimage DoP Tom Comerford (The Hole in the Ground). The film will be scored by Stephen McKeown (The Hole in the Ground) with Owen Power (Maudie) serving as production designer.
Filming will kick off in Roscommon, Ireland in November. Stay tuned and check back often for details!
