Tremors 7 aka Tremors: Shrieker Island just hit Blu-ray (and Netflix) and today franchise star, Michael Gross let us fans know how we can get Tremors 8.

Gross took to Facebook to let us all know: “There are no guarantees, but for those who wonder aloud if this is the final film, I will say what I have said before: SALES drive sequels. Show biz is 5% show and 95% business, so if this latest addition to the Tremors franchise, sells well, [Universal] will follow the money, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment may will be back for more.”
The seventh (and final?) installment in the long-running franchise Tremors: Shrieker Island is available on DVD, Blu-ray, on-demand, and Netflix as we speak.
Rated PG-13 for creature violence, some gore, and more, it begins when wealthy trophy hunters genetically modify Graboid eggs to create the ultimate hunting experience, it isn’t long before their prey escapes the confines of their small island and begin terrorizing the inhabitants of a nearby island research facility. The head of the research facility and her second-in-command Jimmy locate the one man who is an expert in killing Graboids: the one and only and now reluctant, Burt Gummer. Once on board, Burt leads the group in an all-out war against the larger, faster, and terrifyingly intelligent Graboids and the swiftly multiplying Shriekers!
Directed by Don Michael Paul from a screenplay written by Brian Brightly; the film stars Richard Brake (3 From Hell) Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Michael Gross, Caroline Langrishe, Jackie Cruz, Cassie Clare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Matthew Douglas, Randy Kalsi, Bear Williams, David Asavanond, Boonma Lamphon, Aukrawut Rojaunawat, and Mikey Black. Jamie Kennedy (Scream) doesn’t return.
