Anchor Bay Bringing Michael Biehn and The Walking Dead Zombie Head to San Diego Comic-Con 2012Michael Biehn’s first-ever appearance and “The Walking Dead” Blu-ray zombie head are just some of the sights you’ll see at San Diego Comic-Con thanks to Anchor Bay.

Once again, Anchor Bay Entertainment pulls out all the stops for the 2012 San Diego Comic Con, beaming down to the San Diego Convention Center July 12th through the 15th, to showcase the latest and greatest ABE releases!

First up, Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens) will appear at the Starz/Anchor Bay booth (#4045) on Friday, July 13th, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm PT, along with co-star/producer Jennifer Blanc (The Divide, The Crow), to sign posters for his upcoming feature film directorial debut The Victim. PLEASE NOTE: Autographs are limited to The Victim poster and ONE other Michael Biehn related item only!

Fans stopping by the Starz/Anchor Bay booth #4045 at Comic Con will experience:

  • Specially created and highly anticipated “zombie head” packaging for the upcoming “The Walking Dead” Season 2 Blu-ray designed by TWD Co-Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero and created by McFarlane Toys
  • Piranha 3DD: Killer Piranha fish production prop from the film will be on display at the ABE booth!
  • Trailers for upcoming Anchor Bay Entertainment releases including Piranha 3DD; The Barrens directed by SAW II-IV’s Darren Lynn Bousman; Hijacked with Randy Couture; Mac & Devin Go to High School with Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa; Michael Biehn’s The Victim; One in the Chamber with Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Dolph Lundgren; the Blu-ray premiere of Halloween 4 and Halloween 5; and Jersey Shore Shark Attack.

    In addition, fans who come by the ABE booth will be eligible to win prizes, including Blu-rays, DVDs and signed posters.

    Friday, July 13th:

    1:25 – 2:25pm – “The Walking Dead” Panel in Hall H – Stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Norman Reedus, Steven Yuen, Lauren Cohan, Danal Gurira, David Morrissey, Executive Producer and Showrunner Glen Mazzara, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, Executive Producer Robert Kirkman and Co-Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero talk about what fans can expect from the new season of the wildly popular television series. Anchor Bay will be releasing “The Walking Dead” Season 2 on Blu-ray™/DVD on August 28th, with a limited edition zombie head statue Blu-ray™ also available (designed by Greg Nicotero and created by McFarlane Toys)

    5:45pm – 6:15pm – “Spartacus: War of the Damned” Panel at Room 6BCF – The glories of ancient Rome continue, as stars Liam McIntyre, Manu Bennett and Executive Producer Steven S. DeKnight provide an inside glimpse into the upcoming season of the Starz television phenomenon, as well as a peek at the September 11th Blu-ray™ and DVD release of “Spartacus: Vengeance,” a 3-disc set that includes tons of never-before-seen bonus features!
