THE STAND Poster Evokes WALKING DEAD – Which I’m Sure Was 100% Unintentional

CBS All Access’ nine-episode adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand with Alexander Skarsgård hits this Christmas. And today we have the poster.

This version stars James Marsden as Stu Redman, Greg Kinnear as Glen Bateman, Odessa Young as Frannie Goldsmith, Henry Zaga as Nick Andros, and Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abagail. They’re joined by Jovan Adepo as Larry Underwood, Owen Teague as Harold Lauder, Brad William Henke as Tom Cullen, Nat Wolff as Lloyd Henreid, Heather Graham as Rita Blakemoor, Daniel Sunjata as Cobb, Eion Bailey as Teddy Weizak, Katherine McNamara as Julie Lawry, Hamish Linklater as Dr. Ellis, and Luca Batista as Young Nick. On top of that Marilyn Manson says he has a role in the new series along with Alexander Skarsgård as Randall Flagg.

The series hits on December 17th.

Warner Bros. Pictures and CBS Films are developing the series which Boone produces with Jimmy Miller and Roy Lee. Boone also serves as director and wrote the series with Ben Cavell. Boone and Ben Cavell serve as executive producers alongside Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller, and Richard P. Rubinstein with Will Weiske and Miri Yoon serving as co-executive producers and Owen King as producer.
