Tony Todd Joins Indie Thriller THE DEAD ROSE

Candyman and Final Destination star Tony Todd has joined the cast of writer-director Jimmy Drain’s indie thriller The Dead Rose as a long-time Catholic priest.
Rob Bieber and Drain penned the flick which follows a man whose faith is put to the test when he is seduced into the corrupt world of a cult’s organized crime, extortion, and violence following the death of his father.
On top of writing and directing, Drain (The Initiation) will produce and star along with Mel Novak (Game Of Death), Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior), Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down), Cooper Huckabee (Tales From The Hood 3), Erika Monet Butters (Night Things), Eric Cartwright (Tinderella), and Harley Wallen (Abstruse).
ThunderKnight Entertainment produces along with Joseph Kelbie Williamson, Gloria Tait, and Darren Boylen. Shooting is all set to kick off in the summer of 2021.
