Officially licensed from RLJE Films and approved by director Bobby Roe, The Houses October Built hits limited edition, fully-functional VHS next Friday.
The killer found footage flick arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by Kyle Crawford (Fright-Rags). Limited to 100 units, each tape includes exclusive cast introductions and a letter from the filmmakers. For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame.

From producer Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious) here’s the synopsis: Underneath the fake blood and cheap masks of countless haunted house attractions across the country, there are whispers of a truly terrifying alternative. Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down this underground Haunt. Just when their search seems to reach a dead-end, strange and disturbing things start happening, and it becomes clear that the Haunt has come to them…
