Screen Media Snags Bella Thorne & Mickey Rourke Revenge Thriller GIRL

Screen Media has snagged up the U.S. rights to first-time writer-director Chad Faust’s revenge thriller Girl with Bella Thorne and Mickey Rourke. After bowing at Fantastic Fest later this week, the is set for a day-and-date release in November.
Screen Media says: “We are thrilled to showcase Bella Thorne like you’ve never seen her before, and we know her fans are going to love watching her take charge and take names.”
Co-starring Faust, Glenn Gould, Lanette Ware, and Elizabeth Saunders, it centers on a woman (Thorne) who returns to her small hometown intent on killing her abusive father (Rourke), only to discover someone else got to him first. As she searches for answers, she uncovers a family legacy more dangerous than imagined.
Thomas Michael produces the thriller with Shayne Putzlocher and Sara Shaak while Jason Moring, Dave Duckett, Joe Ferraro, Jean Pierre Magro, Al Morrison, Lee Nelson, David Tish, Seth Needle, and Conor McAdam executive produce.
