Neve Campbell Confirmed for SCREAM 5!
We’ve all been super excited about the news that Scream 5 is currently in pre-production at Spyglass and Paramount. At the same time, we’ve all been holding our collective breaths, wondering if Neve Campbell would be returning to reprise the role of Sidney Prescott. After all, it just wouldn’t feel like a true Scream movie without Sidney.
Well, our friends at Bloody Disgusting just dropped some news that will make all Scream fans very VERY happy: Sidney’s coming back! She’ll join previously confirmed Scream alumni David Arquette and Courteney Cox.
Scream 5 will be directed by Radio Silence filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a script penned by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Newcomers to the cast include Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, and Jenna Ortega.
Scream 5 is aiming for a January 2022 release. We’ll keep you posted on all Scream-related news as details emerge, so stay tuned and check back often.
