Detention of the Dead LA Premiere This Friday at Chinese 6 Theatres

The eagerly anticipated horror-comedy Detention of the Dead (review here) will be making its Los Angeles premiere this Friday, June 1st, at the Chinese 6 Theaters, beginning at 11:45 pm as part of Dances With Films 15.
Starring Jacob Zachar (“Greek”), Alexa Nikolas “(Zoey 101”), Christa B. Allen (“Revenge”), Jayson Blair (“The Hard Times of RJ Berger”), Justin Chon (Twilight) and Max Adler (“Glee”), Detention of the Dead, which can be described as The Breakfast Club meets Shaun of the Dead, was directed by Alex Craig Mann, who also co-wrote with Rob Rinow.

Synopsis

Comedy and horror unite in this tale about a group of oddball high school students who find themselves trapped in detention during a zombie apocalypse. Can they put their differences aside and work together to survive the night? Fat chance! This is high school after all.
