Sam Raimi’s 50 STATES OF FRIGHT Returns to Quibi This Halloween

It looks like the second season of The Evil Dead and Drag Me to Hell director Sam Raimi’s hit horror anthology series 50 States of Fright will hit Quibi on October 26th.
This update comes from our buddies over at Bloody Disgusting, who let us know the second season will continue to explore stories based on urban legends from different states – this time Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, and Washington – taking viewers deeper into the horrors that lurk just beneath the surface of our country.
Some of Season Two’s episodes include:
- “Almost There” (Iowa): Directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) and starring Taissa Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Katie Stuart.
- “13 Steps to Hell” (Washington): Directed by Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise) and starring Rory Culkin and Lulu Wilson
- “Red Rum” (Colorado): Directed by Daniel Goldhaber (Cam) and starring Christina Ricci, Jacob Batalon, Victoria Justice, Colin Ford
- “Dogwood-Azalea” (Missouri): Directed by Cate Devaney and starring Erica Tremblay, Elizabeth Reaser
The first season sports an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes with this Critics Consensus: 50 States of Fright has a long road ahead of it, but with one effectively scary stop under its belt this horror anthology may just have what it takes to go the distance.
