David Arquette Hopes Hayden Panettiere Returns in SCREAM 5

The best Scream sequel is Scream 4. And one of the best aspects of that film is Heroes star Hayden Panettiere’s Kirby. And today, franchise star David Arquette revealed he’d like to see her return for Radio Silence’s Scream 5.
Arquette tells HollywoodLife: “I love Hayden. I think she’s a tremendous person and actress, and I’d love to see her back.“

Whether or not, Panettiere ends up in the new flick, it already has a killer cast including Arquette, Courteney Cox, and Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera.
Neve Campbell is rumored to be returning.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt (Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing. Casting is underway on the flick which shoots in Wilmington, North Carolina this fall and is set to hit theaters in 2021.
