John Carpenter Dubs HALLOWEEN KILLS the Quintessential Slasher Film

Blumhouse and David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills with Jamie Lee Curtis and Anthony Michael Hall is said to be bigger, badder, and meaner than the first. And today, producer John Carpenter teased the movie is the quintessential slasher film.
In a recent interview for the Fantasia International Film Festival, Carpenter claims: “It is the quintessential slasher film. It is so intense and it even stuns me how incredible it is.”

It stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer as Karen Nelson, Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Dylan Arnold as Cameron Elam, Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Nancy Stephens as Marion Chambers, and James Jude Courtney / Nick Castle as Michael Myers.
Halloween Kills is directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Jason Blum, Malek Akkad, and Bill Block. David Gordon Green wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems. The music will be provided by John Carpenter.
