Radio Silence’s SCREAM 5 Adds YOU Star Jenna Ortega
Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s Scream 5 has added Jenna Ortega (You, Jane the Virgin) to the cast which already includes David Arquette, Courteney Cox and (hopefully) Neve Campbell.
The actress joins the recently announced Melissa Barrera. And like Barrera, it’s unknown who Ortega will be playing in the new flick.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt (Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing.
Additional casting is underway on the flick which starts shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina this fall. It’s set to hit theaters in 2021.
