Simon Barret’s SEANCE Snags R-Rating for Bloody Horror Violence & More

The Guest and You’re Next writer Simon Barret is making his directorial debut soon with the Dark Castle fright flick Seance with Suki Waterhouse, Madisen Beaty, and Inanna Sarkis.

And today we got word that the MPAA has slapped the film with a not so surprising R-rating for “bloody horror violence, language, and some drug use.” Sounds good to us!

Russell Ackerman produces the picture with Tomas Deckaj, John Schoenfelder, and Alex Mace. Dark Castle will unleash sometime in the near future, I’d guess by this ratings update. Stay tuned.
