Two more comic book adaptations are being shopped at the big dance featuring everyone’s favorite bad guys – Nazis – and of course nefarious zombies. Read on for the latest projects on their way from page to screen.

Screen Daily reports that producer Pierre Spangler (Underground, Superman) is taking two interesting horror projects to Cannes in order to complete financing.

The first is I Am Legion, which will be written by Richard Stanley and directed by Nacho Cerda (The Abandoned). The film is “a supernatural thriller set against the background of World War II. The film, budgeted in the $12m range, is targeting Romania for its shoot.

The second project is The Zombies that Ate the World, which “is a futuristic saga set in a world where zombies walk among us and are relegated to the status of cheap labor. The film is being structured as a Canadian co-production to shoot in Canada.” Erik Canuel (Bon Cop, Bad Cop) is attached to direct from a script by Michael McKenzie.

Both projects come via the French comic press Humanoids.
