I don’t think we’ve ever been this intrigued by a trailer so short!
Quentin Dupieux (aka Mr. Oizo) is a French musician turned filmmaker and his latest offering, Mandibules, will screen during the 77th Annual Venice Film Festival as part of its Out of Competition lineup.
Synopsis:
Two simple-minded friends discover a giant fly in the trunk of a car and decide to domesticate it to earn money with it.
While technically classified as a comedy, there’s something supremely unnerving about the idea of a giant fly–domesticated or not! Mandibules stars Adèle Exarchopoulos, Dave Chapman, and Grégoire Ludig.
There isn’t much more to say at this point beyond: “WTF?!?”
