Trick or Treaters Turn Into Halloween Costumes in Disney+ Horror-Comedy SPOOKED
Up and coming Irish filmmaker Peter Foott (The Young Offenders) will direct the upcoming Disney+ supernatural horror-comedy Spooked.
The winning storyline centers a Halloween night gone awry as trick or treaters are transformed into whatever costume they are wearing.
Moo-Haha.
Tyler Burton Smith (Child’s Play) wrote the script which Foott will rewrite. Dan Lin (It Chapter Two, Death Note) and Jonathan Eirich produce.

Personally, the flick kinda sounds like Ari Sandel’s Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween to me, but that doesn’t mean I’m not into that.
For the record, Goosebumps 2 told the tale of best friends Sonny and Sam who, while collecting junk one day, meet Slappy, a mischievous talking dummy from an unpublished “Goosebumps” book by R.L. Stine. Hoping to start his own family, Slappy kidnaps Sonny’s mother and brings all of his ghoulish friends back to life — just in time for Halloween. As the sleepy town becomes overrun with monsters, witches and other mysterious creatures, Sonny joins forces with his sister, Sam and a kindly neighbor to save Sonny’s mom and foil Slappy’s plan.
Here’s the trailer.
