RIP John Saxon: A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Actor Has Passed Away at 83

Sad news to report, as Dread Central is now learning that John Saxon has passed away at the age of 83. Horror fans best remember the actor for his turns as Lt. Donald Thompson (Nancy’s dad) in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Lt. Ken Fuller in Black Chritmas (1974). He’s boasts nearly 200 film and TV credits total.

Saxon died of pneumonia in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, his wife, Gloria, told The Hollywood Reporter.
