“Uncut” PSYCHO Coming to Blu-Ray with Never Before Released Footage

Rumors of a Psycho Director’s Cut have been circulating for years since film sleuths discovered discrepancies between the theatrical cut and a German cut released overseas. Now, an “Uncut” version of Psycho may be hitting Blu-ray for the first time ever as part of The Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection.
The product description doesn’t make it clear if the “Uncut” version is the German release, but many believe they are one and the same. Here’s the official product description:

The Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection features four iconic films from the acclaimed director’s illustrious career including Rear Window, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds in stunning 4K resolution. Starring Hollywood favorites such as James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak and Rod Taylor, this essential collection features hours of bonus features as well as the original uncut version of Psycho for the first time ever.
