Haig began acting in the early ’60s, mostly doing bit parts in various TV shows. It was in the ’70s when he began taking on more film roles. The ’90s saw Haig take a step back from acting, taking on only a handful of roles before his resurgence in the early 2000s when he appeared in Rob Zombie’s House of 1,000 Corpses as Captain Spaulding, embodying a new horror icon.
