Junji Ito’s TOMIE Coming to Quibi as Horror Series Directed by Alexandre Aja

Today, Quibi announced the upcoming horror series Tomie, based on the thrilling hit manga series of the same name, directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension), written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Aquaman) and produced by Sony Pictures Television and UCP.  Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) is set to star.

Based on the cult hit manga series by Junji Ito, Tomie is the story of a beautiful high school girl (Adeline Rudolph) who goes missing and pieces of her body are discovered scattered around a small town. But what starts out as a murder mystery turns into something even more horrific.

This project is in its infancy, so we don’t have a trailer or release date yet. We’ll keep you posted as details emerge, so stay tuned and check back often!
