This Day in Horror History: Happy Birthday, Aubrey Plaza

On this day in horror history, actress Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1984. She is perhaps best known around these parts for her roles in Life After Beth and the recent remake of Child’s Play.

I’d recommend Life After Beth.

Rated R for language, some horror violence, sexual content, nudity, and brief drug use, the film begins after Zach’s girlfriend unexpectedly dies but gets a second chance at love after she rises from the dead.

The zombie-horror romantic-comedy sports a 44% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: In spite of Aubrey Plaza’s committed performance, Life After Beth remains a sketch-worthy idea that’s been uncomfortably stretched to feature length.
