Film Regions International co-chairman John R. Blythe has made quite a name for himself in the horror industry. In addition to working on director Brandon Scullion’s The New Hands, Blythe has also helped to secure a number of international genre films, which horror fans will be eager to see. Some of these include the supernatural Indonesian drama Tujuh Bidadari (otherwise known as 7 Angels), the zombie apocalypse thriller Zeta: When the Dead Awaken, which also comes from Indonesia, and the Indian/Australian co-production Aiyai: Wrathful Soul.
All of these films have already been completed, which means we hopefully won’t have to wait too long until they arrive on US shores. Similarly, Film Regions International will also be responsible for finally releasing the acclaimed 2011 British horror A Reckoning in North America, so those of you who have been waiting to see it for almost a decade will at long last have your patience rewarded. With such an extensive release catalogue, it sounds like if you’re a horror fan, you’ll definitely want to keep Film Regions International on your radar for the foreseeable future.
Blythe provided us with the following press release about all of Film Regions International’s upcoming projects, so read on for more details. We’ve also included relevant images and trailers for the films in question, which you can enjoy viewing below.
