Dr. Houston Brooks Will Return in GODZILLA VS. KONG
Adam Wingard’s mega monster mash Godzilla vs. Kong hit 2D, 3D, and IMAX on November 20, 2020. And today we hear that the new prequel graphic novel confirms that Dr. Houston Brooks will be making an appearance in the story.
Dr. Brooks was on the expeditionary team that first traveled to Skull Island, hoping to map the pathways into the mysterious world Brooks theorized exists near the Earth’s core. After surviving the encounter with Kong and the island’s horrific beasts, Brooks joined up with Monarch, to help track the Titan phenomenon.
Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton) played Dr. Brooks in Kong: Skull Island and Joe Morton (T2: Judgement Day) took over in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong takes place in a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.
A sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong is the fourth film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.
It’s scheduled to be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX on November 20, 2020.
