Samuel Bodin, the creator of the killer Netflix series Marianne and producer Seth Rogen are teaming up for a new Lionsgate horror-thriller dubbed Cobweb.
The story centers on a boy whose parents have always told him the voices he hears in the walls of his house are just his imagination. But when he discovers the sounds are actually real, he goes on an unnerving quest to discover the truth.
Bodin will direct from a screenplay written by Chris Thomas Devlin, whose script was ranked No. 1 on the BloodList and made the Black List in 2018.

Rogen will produce the flick with Roy Lee (IT: Chapter Two), Evan Goldberg (This Is The End), James Weaver, and Jon Berg. Andrew Childs and Josh Fagen are executive producers. Jim Miller and Meredith Wieck are overseeing for Lionsgate.

Meanwhile, Marianne centers on a horror writer lured back to her hometown to discover the evil spirit who plagues her dreams is wreaking havoc in the real world.
The series sports a 93% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Smart and scary with the most unsettling pair of eyes since Nicolas Cage in Vampire’s Kiss, Marianne is pure nightmare fuel.
