Georgia Filmmaker Drops CORONAMAN, CANDYMAN-Themed Stay-At-Home PSA

Don’t say his name five times!

The state of Georgia is currently easing social-distancing guidelines in an effort to restart the economy in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic–but is it too much too soon? Filmmaker Bobby Huntley II thinks so.

Huntley has just released the short-film PSA Cornonaman: Stay Home, which is nearly a shot-for-shot parody of the trailer for the upcoming Candyman reboot. Give it a spin below.

Check out the official trailer and synopsis for Candyman, currently set for a September 25th release, below.

Synopsis:
A “spiritual sequel” to the 1992 horror film ‘Candyman’ that returns to the now-gentrified Chicago neighborhood where the legend began.

Candyman is directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett.
