“Want to Play a Game?” SAW/SPIRAL’s Darren Lynn Bousman Promotes New Immersive Experience at iConfidant
Darren Lynn Bousman’s Saw reboot, Spiral, was originally slated to hit US theaters in a couple of weeks, but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film has been pushed back a full year. Spiral is now slated for theatrical release on May 21st, 2021. Still, Bousman took to Facebook recently to announce a new immersive project in the works with iConfidant.
“iConfidant is intended for a mature audience. You must be 18 years or older to play – all from the comfort of your own home.”
So what exactly is iConfidant?
“iConfidant is a social service striving to help people find the most profound connections humanly possible. A confidant is someone that just gets you. Whether you’re a loner or surrounded by people who could also use that special person that understands you at your core without explanation. Connecting with someone shouldn’t take work!
“Our team is comprised of experts from the tech industry to mental health professionals to sociologists and many more from different cultures and backgrounds all over the world. Through our algorithms, intuition, and hard work, our dedicated team of professionals will find the confidant for you.
“From the comfort of your home, meet your confidant today.”
Check out the trailer for Spiral (starring Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, and Morgan David Jones) below.
It all seems rather mysterious, so we’re excited to see what develops at iConfidant. I’m signing up–are you? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram! You can also carry on the convo with me personally on Twitter @josh_millican.
