Try to Outrun the Sun in Trailer for INTO THE NIGHT, Arriving on Netflix May 1st

Based on Jacek Dukaj’s best-selling novel The Old Axolotl, Into the Night is a 6-part series hitting Netflix on May 1st. Give the trailer a spin embedded at the top of the article and read more about the show below.

Synopsis:
When the sun inexplicably starts killing everything and everyone in its path, a few ‘lucky’ passengers and crew of an overnight flight out of Brussels try to survive as they fly west – into the night.

According to Radio Times, Executive producer Tomek Bagiński says this is really a human story: “What I loved most was the inevitability of apocalypse and the idea that you can run from it in a plane with a group of strangers who don’t even speak the same language. We never really know people we travel with – to realize that maybe those people are now your tribe – people your survival depends on – this is a base for a great drama and a great thriller.”

Into the Night is created by Jason George and stars Alba Gaïa Bellugi, Jan Bijvoet, and Regina Bikkinina.
