Ready or Not centers on Grace who couldn’t be happier after she marries the man of her dreams at his family’s luxurious estate. There’s just one catch — she must now hide from midnight until dawn while her new in-laws hunt her down with guns, crossbows and other weapons.

Rated R for violence, bloody images, language throughout, and some drug use, it sports an 88% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Smart, subversive, and darkly funny, Ready or Not is a crowd-pleasing horror film with giddily entertaining bite.

Meanwhile, Joker tells the tale of failed comedian Arthur Fleck, forever alone in a crowd, who seeks connection as he walks the streets of Gotham City. Arthur wears two masks — the one he paints for his day job as a clown, and the guise he projects in a futile attempt to feel like he’s part of the world around him. Isolated, bullied and disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.

Rated R for strong bloody violence, disturbing behavior, language and brief sexual images, the film sports an 88% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Joker gives its infamous central character a chillingly plausible origin story that serves as a brilliant showcase for its star — and a dark evolution for comics-inspired cinema.
