UPDATED GARETH EDWARDS TO JOIN GODZILLA Watchalong Event Kicks Off Today at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET

Legendary has partnered with Nerdist for a Monsterverse Watchalong event! It will take place each Thursday for the next three weeks and cover the franchise’s three entries thus far.
This includes Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla, Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island, and Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters with Vera Farmiga and Millie Bobby Brown.
The Monsterverse Watchalong Schedule:
- Thursday, April 9 at 5 pm PST – Godzilla (2014)
- Thursday, April 16 at 5pm PST – Kong: Skull Island
- Thursday, April 23 at 5pm PST – Godzilla: King of the Monsters
While viewing the film is not required to participate, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment makes it extremely easy for fans to watch each film. Legendary promises a rare glimpse behind the scenes of each movie including easter eggs, trivia, several surprise guests, and more. The event will also provide in-depth content and commentary via its social media channels so make sure to follow the hashtag #MonsterverseWatchalong.
NOTE: Legendary will provide access to the archived social commentary after the fact.
