HALLOWEEN KILLS Production Donates Unused N95 Masks to First Responders

To outsiders, horror fans and filmmakers seem like a mob of fiends and deviants. But anyone involved in the community knows we’re really a bunch of softies. (Shhh.. don’t tell!) The horror community has always shown their mettle during times of crisis and now is no different. Case in point: We’re learning that the production of Halloween Kills donated their supply of N95 masks to first responders.

Our own Sean Decker resported the news on HalloweenMovies.com:

“With the current nationwide shortage of N95 masks which are desperately needed by first responders and medical practitioners still a concern, Trancas International Films, along with Blumhouse Productions, Miramax and Universal Pictures recently donated their unused reserve of N95 masks stemming from the production of Halloween Kills to Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.”

Halloween Kills arrives in US theaters on October 16th. Returning cast members include Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Castle, and Jibrail Nantambu. Newcomers include Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, and Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace (reprising her role for 1978’s Halloween). David Gordon Green returns to direct.
