AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 10 Location Points to Possible Lady of the Dunes Connection
Screen Rant reports that American Horror Story season 10 showrunner Ryan Murphy has been scouting locations in Provincetown, Massachusetts – which happens to be the site of the unsolved 1974 Lady of the Dunes murder case.
If you aren’t familiar with the case, a woman found dead on the dunes nearly decapitated lying on a beach blanket. The Lady of the Dunes was never identified, nor was the murderer.

Better yet, Steven Spielberg’s Jaws has a connection to the Lady of the Dunes with Stephen King’s son and NOS4A2 author Joe Hill speculating that the unidentified woman resembles an extra in the Fourth of July scene. And since Spielberg’s movie was filmed in 1974, it’s possible.
Season 10 will star Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, and Macaulay Culkin.
Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto, Tim Minear, James Wong, Jennifer Salt, Bradley Buecker, Alexis Martin Woodall, Crystal Liu, Adam Penn, and John J. Gray serve as executive producers. Alexis Martin Woodall, Patrick McKee, Robert M. Williams Jr., and Ned Martel produce.
